We're an Australian-Swedish couple that settled in Swedish Lapland about 20 years ago. Matt is Australian-English and Lindy is Swedish. Matt has been in property management for over 30 years , starting in Australia and then in the UK and now Sweden . Lindy has had 25 years experience in both the UK and Sweden. She has also been in the aviation industry for over 14 years. Our daughter has had 9 years experience with welcoming guests ! We’re Looking forward to meeting and greeting you soon. Welcome to us !

Property information

Our Large Family Apartment-Suites , 4 bedroom Family LakeHouse , 3 bedroom Family TopHouse & 2 bedroom Family BoatHouse are all situated opposite the Lake with wonderful views. They are convenient to the ski slopes and frozen lake for cross country skiing and snowmobiles. In summer guests can use our free canoes to explore the mountain lake & our free bikes to explore the area. We have recently adapted our accommodation to meet a changing world. Depending on the season and particular period, our Lake House is either rented out as a whole house or as two 75 m2 family suites on separate levels. Each suite has a private dining area , private TV room , private kitchen and private bathroom . We provide a warm homely and family atmosphere . To keep our prices budget-minded , guests are encouraged to bring their own linen (the Scandinavian way!). Otherwise they can be rented for 150 Kr per person. As is also common in Sweden, end-cleaning of houses, superior / deluxe apartment-suites is not included. Guests are required to leave their accommodation to the same standard of cleanliness as they found it upon check-in. Or if they prefer , guests can order and pay for end-cleaning .

Neighbourhood information

Ski slopes, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling during the winter. Hiking on the famous ' Kungsleden' ( King's Trail ) or the Queen's Trail. Experiencing Vindelfjällens vast nature reserve. Or simply swimming , canoeing , boating and fishing during the warmer months. Berry picking , mushroom ' hunting ' during autumn. Or just a convenient stop-over to recharge on your journey before crossing the border to Norway.
