A hundred year old house locally nicknamed "Pr džungli" used to be central to the area as it was the only farmhouse around. While fully renovated in June 2018 to meet all the modern needs it still keeps the essence of its heritage in form of the beautiful canopy, the roof type and of course the name. It is located only 200m from the new Bled shopping center which includes the bank along with numerous shops and a nearby restaurant. The Bled lake is only a 10min walk away. The Jungle apartments offers a private terrace and a huge common garden area with a beautiful mountain view. In the house where the old meets new, the cosy environment offers everything you need to unwind and relax in this peaceful area of Bled.
We are Vincenc and Grega, the owners of The Jungle apartments, one of the oldest houses in this part of Bled. We traveled the world, seen a lot of beautiful places and ended up opening apartments in our home town in Bled. Located near the city center our house offers a great starting point for adventures available in Bled and around it. You can visit The Vintgar Gorge (5,5km), walk around the Lake Bled (1,1km away), visit Triglav national park (7km away) and enjoy the view of the Julian Alps from the garden around the house. You can also enjoy canyoning, rafting, whitewater kayaking, Zip lines over the valleys, golf, trekking around Bled and swimming in clear water lakes and rivers. During the winter time there is a ski lift 1,3km away from the house. We kindly invite you to join us and spend a lovely time in Bled.
The house is located in the quiet neighbourhood close to the city center. Near the house there is Info point Bled and lake Bled is just 10 min walk away. There is also a supermket just 200m away from the house with opening hours everyday from 7am to 9pm.
