License number: Under Thailand’s Hotel Act B.E. 2547 (2004), small-scale properties are exempt from requiring a hotel licence if they have no more than 4 rooms, host fewer than 20 guests, and are operated as supplementary income rather than a hotel business. Our property meets all these criteria: under 4 bedrooms, fewer than 20 guests, and not run as a hotel. We are therefore legally exempt from holding or displaying a hotel licence in Thailand.
