Located away from the busy ambiance of Kampala but so nearly accessible, The Haven is within easy reach of the city's top attractions, landmarks, and amenities. Such as;
1) Kasubi Tombs (1.7 Kilometers, 5-minute drive, 25 Minutes’ Walk): Serves as the burial grounds for four kabakas (kings of Buganda) and other members of the Baganda royal family.
2) Bulange (3.9 Kilometers, 15-minute drive): The administrative headquarters of the Buganda Kingdom. It houses the offices of the Kabaka (King) and the Buganda Parliament (Lukiiko) and serves as the seat of the Buganda Kingdom's government.
3) St. Nicolas Orthodox Church (2-minute drive, 5-minute walking): This church is the main cathedral of the Orthodox Church in Uganda and was started in 1934.
4) Gaddafi Mosque (4.8 Kilometers, 20-minute drive): Also known as the National Mosque of Uganda, is the largest mosque in East Africa. It was named after the late president of Libya, Colonel Muammar Gaddafi, who provided the funds for its completion.
5) Namirembe Cathedral (3.2 Kilometers, 15-minute drive)
Saint Paul's Cathedral Namirembe, commonly and locally referred to as Namirembe Cathedral, is the oldest Anglican cathedral in Uganda. It serves as the provincial cathedral of the Anglican Church of Uganda and the diocesan cathedral for Namirembe Diocese.
6) Nakivubo War Memorial Stadium (5.3 Kilometers, 20-minute drive)
Nakivubo War Memorial Stadium, also known as Hamz Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium. It is situated at Nakivubo War Memorial Grounds with a 35,000 seating capacity.
7) Uganda Museum (6.5 Kilometers, 25-minute drive): Established in 1908. It showcases ethnological, natural-historical, and traditional life collections that represent Uganda's cultural heritage.
