Internet available, TV in the living room - local stations and movies - you are welcome to use your streaming accounts, Desk in Dining Area. Private, fully equipped kitchen. The porch to the pool is SHARED for my painting and framing equipment. Enjoy pristine beaches minutes away, visit Ft. DeSoto Park in Tierra Verde voted the best USA Beach is 7 miles away. As a military child, I have lived my life as a traveler, a seeker of culture, nature, knowledge, and people. People often ask where I am from, truly I do not know the answer to that question. Newfoundland, Canada? Fairbanks or Whittier Alaska? Williamsburg, Virginia? Hingham Massachusetts? Virginia Beach, Virginia? Puerto Rico? Panama? The Caribbean? Asia? I have chosen St. Petersburg, Florida as my spiritual home. This place speaks to me of all the people, places, and cultures I have known and reminds me of days gone by with happy times on other turfs. It is called The Sunshine City and I love the warmth of the people, the place, and the potential of the city's future.
I looked for this property for two years. I wanted a home that reminded me of the places I had lived. I love that there is plenty of land with vegetation surrounding the house and attached apartment. The two sides of the house were reconnected sometime in the 1960s. I have sectioned off the Guest Quarters apartment for short-term rentals. It is private (but shared on the porch for my Chinese Brush Painting supplies) for renters and has a private door to the pool area. The location is convenient to downtown, restaurants, museums, Crescent Lake Park, art, and events. The Pass-a-Grill beach is only 7 miles away unless one would like to use the beach downtown which is 2 miles away. There are wonderful art and cultural events on the downtown waterfront all year long. Go to The St. Petersburg Chamber website for a look at the Visitor s Guide.
