Our lovely, remodeled 1929 home has front and back gardens with fruit trees, vaulted ceilings, a fire place and built-ins, including a sitting desk for quiet contemplation. The home is a perfect home base for all things in the Bay Area, with a 5 minute drive to Lake Merritt restaurants and Bart, and a 20 minutes drive (without traffic) to San Francisco. This has been a family home where we raised our toddler so there's a lot to offer families including toys and a sandbox. Close to Coliseum too.

The neighborhood is multicultural and friendly. The neighbors all knew us by name. Next door is a beautiful historic Victorian from the 1880's where one of the caretakers for this home lives. There is a bus stop not far and Bart is a 5 minute drive.
