“Good location away from town, but easy to get to (with the GPS). The B&B was a beautiful, rustic, large log cabin style but with all the amenities. And, a wonderful setting, surrounded by the woods, and very nice hosts.”

Black River Crossing is a "adults" only bed and breakfast. Please note that with a B&B you are not renting the entire house. You are renting a room and we supply you with a delicious home-cooked breakfast. We reside on the premises as this is our home.
We are situated along the banks of the Black River in Bessemer, the Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan, a stones-throw away from the Lake Superior attractions and the small towns of Ironwood, Bessemer, and Wakefield. We have three beautifully decorated themed bedrooms all with private bathrooms; two with fireplaces and whirlpool tubs. There is also a wood-fired sauna on the premises and a hot tub.
You could take a stroll through the manicured property or if you prefer to relax at the house, we have 4 common areas where you can relax, one of which is a screened in gazebo which is cool in the summer and bug free! After a day of skiing in the Winter, relax upstairs by the wood fireplace. Ideally located for skiing at Big Powderhorn Ski slopes, amongst others, as well as snow mobile and hiking trails.
Although we do not allow pets, we have a very loveable Husky (Lobo) who can't wait to meet you!
