Enjoy the beauty and comfort of this restored Victorian home in a quiet, convenient residential neighborhood. The Laven House is located downtown Mankato and is walking distance to restaurants, bars and the Convention Center. It is only 2.2 miles from MSU and 1.4 miles to Mayo. Stay comfortably in this charming and welcoming home.

Chris and Kristin love restoring historic properties with all the charm! All rooms have been renovated with new bathrooms, kitchen and living spaces. They love hosting guests to showcase their homes that preserve an important piece of Mankato history.

Located in the historic Lincoln Park Neighborhood, guests enjoy the convenient downtown location and walk through the neighborhood, viewing many restored historic homes. We are excited to offer customized experiences that highlight different activities offered in the Greater Mankato area. Stay and Play when you enjoy Minneopa Waterfalls and drive through the bison park, rent our E-Bikes and enjoy the Red Jacket Trail, stroll along the downtown Art Walk, ski Mount Kato, take in a theater performance at Minnesota State University, and taste delicious food at locally owned restaurants that are walking distance from the home.
