Company information
We are a small, family-run hosting team. We currently manage two holiday homes – The Genet and Volgens Plan, located in the peaceful seaside village of Klein Brak River, just outside Mossel Bay.
What makes us different is our focus on creating a truly relaxed and comfortable holiday experience. We believe that time away should feel effortless, with everything you need close at hand and plenty of space to switch off. We also understand the importance of privacy during a holiday. While we are always available if you need us, we respect your personal space and give you the freedom to enjoy your stay in peace.
Our goal is simple: to provide a welcoming place where families, couples, and friends can slow down, feel at ease, and create lasting memories on the Garden Route.

Neighbourhood information
Little Brak River is one of those rare coastal gems where time seems to slow down and the rhythm of village life gently unfolds. Tucked just outside Mossel Bay, this quiet seaside neighbourhood combines the charm of a traditional South African holiday town with the beauty of unspoilt nature. Guests are often surprised at how quickly they feel at home here. Mornings start with birdsong drifting from the greenbelt, and evenings are coloured by sunsets that turn the sky into a painter’s canvas.
The neighbourhood is loved for its safe, relaxed atmosphere. The Blue Flag sandy beach is only a short stroll away, ideal for families with children, early-morning walkers, and those who simply want to breathe in the fresh sea air. The estuary adds to the character of the place. At high tide, you will often see children paddling and locals fishing, while low tide invites long barefoot walks on glistening sandbanks.
Klein Brak offers the best of both worlds: a peaceful retreat with the convenience of nearby amenities. Within minutes, you will find cosy cafés, local shops, and excellent farm stalls showcasing the region’s fresh produce. A short drive connects you to the energy of Mossel Bay, the gateway to the Garden Route, where adventure activities, cultural experiences, and fine dining await.
Guests staying here often comment on how refreshingly authentic the neighbourhood feels. It is not overdeveloped or crowded, yet it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Whether you are here for a family holiday, a romantic break, or a quiet escape, Klein Brak River offers an inviting sense of belonging that makes e
