Company information

Susann and Detlef are Germans and felt in love with South Africa and the Lowveld area long ago. We immigrated in 2004 and started our new life with building up this guest house where we are close enough to enter the Kruger Park whenever we want to.

Property information

White House Lodge is situated on a granite hill and is well known for it's breathtaking views into the valley. Out of town in a farming area with a wonderful climate and a big variety of birds and indigenous plants.

Neighbourhood information

White House Lodge is situated close to many attractions of the Lowveld area. It is a good half an hour drive to enter the famous Kruger National Park through Numbi Gate. After about 50km you reach the town of Sabie which is the start of the Panorama Route with several waterfalls, God's Window, Bourke Luck's Potholes, The Three Rondavels and many more view points along the Blyde River Canyon. Easy day trips to the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre and the Endangered Species Project. Close to the Nelspruit Botanical Garden, Sudwala Caves, the new geological trail in Barberton. Visit the wild horses in Kapsehoop and explore "Adam's Calendar" which reminds you of "Stonehenge". Go fishing in one of the surrounding dams or decide for a big variety of activities around the Hazyview area. There is something for everybody. Quad biking, hiking, kloofing, canoing, abseiling, sky walk, Elephant Whisperers, Reptile Park and many more things to see and do.
