It's rare for us to get such a good experience from hosts! Otherwise, the location was perfect for us, and having a parking spot nearby really helped us when we were arriving late at night from the Summerside Festival in a nearby town. The apartment itself was large and comfortable, and it was great to have a balcony we could relax at the end of a long day.

The little Bernese Oberland village of Habkern lies in in a wind-protected and fog-free valley, off the beaten tourist track. Everything! The proprietors, our room, the food, Gary the hostess (fantastic!!), the church bells and the views of the Alps were all incredible! The bakery, grocery store across the street was fabulous when opened. It was not opened everyday. This was a true swiss Alps village away from the city and on a vast beautiful mountain range with cows, and horses and beautiful chalets and the people! It was about 20 minutes down a windy road into Interlarken. Perfect location. We had a car but used the bus pass that the hotel gave us which was extremely helpful. We give this place a 15 out of 10 stars. It was just perfect in every way for a small village. Highly recommended

The room was not only spacious and incredibly comfortable, but it also offered a breathtaking view. What truly set this experience apart, however, was the exceptional customer service. After accidentally leaving our camera behind, we faced the unfortunate reality that returning to retrieve it wasn’t an option. Yet, the staff and manager at Hotel Steinbock went above and beyond to ensure it was safely returned to us. Their kindness, honesty, and dedication were absolutely remarkable—and deeply appreciated. In a world where such genuine helpfulness is rare, their actions left a lasting impression on me. Whenever I return to Lauterbrunnen, there’s no question—I’ll be staying at Hotel Steinbock again and again.

The Alpenblick hotel is a family business, situated about 600 metres from the centre of Grindelwald, right at the ski slope and a bus stop, and offers nice rooms and tasty food.

In the restaurant and on the sunny terrace guests can select from fresh hot sandwiches, steaks, salads and desserts. Cheese fondue is available as well. The room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. Everything is great."

The hotel is located in a quiet area, uncirculated by cars. The room was very clean, with a large and comfortable bed. Delicious and unique breakfast and very welcoming and eager to help hosts. They allowed us to leave the car in the parking lot almost all day after check-out, without any problems or extra charge.

All guest room at the Schönegg guest house feature typical Alpine-style furniture. It's a beautiful hotel. if you do get it, it's a steal. everyone is very very welcoming and friendly. rooms are equipped with hot water kettle and they also have a microwave with cutlery available in the common room for guests to use. all day long you can go to the common room and enjoy a coffee overlooking interlaken from their lovely balcony. we also recieved free interlaken guest card that allowed us to use public transport complimentary with many discounts on the attractions. this place is the best
