Amazing Hotel in Engelberg! We have enjoyed to the fullest our stay at Hotel Waldegg. The staff was extremely friendly and the provided service was fantastic. Every day we received a printed forecast for the next day mentioning the weather and what activities we could do. The Spa was great. There is one big swimming pool inside and a hot water tub outside on the terrace. The saunas were nice too. The Hotel is a little bit up on a hill, but you can easily reach it by bus or taxi. There is a bus stop just in front of the hotel. Breakfast was included in our booking and it was delicious. There was a buffet with lots of choice. Furthermore, you could also order additional hot meals from the menu as scrambled eggs, omelettes, etc. The staff in the breakfast room was very friendly as well. The hotel has also 2 restaurants, one for European cuisine and one Thai cuisine. We tried both of them and enjoyed our meals.

Everything was perfect. They had the best service we have ever experienced, the breakfast was delicious, the staff were one of the friendliest people i’ve ever met, the bartender even teached us how to play pool! the place was so nice and clean, the beds were so comfy, and the balcony had the best view of the mountain, we felt really welcomed, they even gave us free welcoming drink and cake and when we checked out they give us free water bottles and chocolate and a ride to the train station.. Honestly worth every penny, BEST HOTEL EVER, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!!! :D

This spa area was definitely a favorite during my stay. - Rooms: The rooms are spacious and well-equipped with modern amenities. I particularly appreciated the Nespresso coffee maker, daily restocked minibar, and yoga mats. For those looking for a touch of luxury, some rooms come with private saunas and fireplaces. - Dining: Dining at the on-site restaurant, BG's Grill, was a delight. The breakfast and dinner offerings were excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality food to choose from. - Service: The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. An amazing hotel well located and with beautiful views to the Eiger. The staff were exceptional. The breakfast variety and quality are top end.

Only 1.5 km from the ski lifts, this youth hostel is located in Grindelwald. The sun terrace and the lovely breakfast room have beautiful views of the Bernese Alps. Packed lunches are available.

Very comfortable beds with friendly staff . Breakfast was awesome , also serve dinner (17CHF which I think is reasonable). The amenities were very clean, no issues . There were also lockers you can use with a deposit 2CHF if needed . Oh the view of the great Eiger from the hostel and the dining place is priceless , worth every dime !!

All was really good. I do not understand reviews about owner. On the reception was a really kind man, which tell us everything what was necessary. Room was very clean and new. There was nice small kitchen with fridge. A few steps from cable car. Highly recommend this hotel.
