The room was beautiful, loved all the little 'graduate' touches, being able to go out on the little balcony, and nice tea/coffee selection in room. Nice fluffy towels and linen. Loved the dining and outdoors garden area to sit overlooking the river. Very handy location. Seemed like good soundproofing, we didn't hear a thing. Reception staff were super helpful and friendly, thank you.

Quirky property, fun to explore with excellent facilities and a lovely charm of Old England. Great hot tub & cinema room. Excellent location, close to shops, cafes and restaurants in Saffron Walden. Each evening there was space to park our cars outside.

Set amid rose gardens, this peaceful hotel has luxurious modern facilities and its architecture dates back to the 17th century. Excellent cuisine is served in the award-winning Squires Restaurant.
