I liked everything in the hotel, specially their staff hospitality. Everyone there treat you as you are a special guest in the hotel. Amazing property with loads of character and charm. It's absolutely like something out of a fairytale. Friendly and helpful staff who couldn't seem to do enough. Be sure to try the Village Thermal - hot tubs and sauna set in a lush, hidden garden. The location is awesome, too - close to Dublin, yet you feel so far away.

Good location. Lovely grounds lit up for Christmas, comfortable hotel furnishings of a timeless character and tastey breakfast. Staff were friendly and considerate as we had to cut our stay short due to a bereavement and was not a problem for the staff who facilitated a refund. They were also considerate and kind under the circumstances.

We had a family wedding at The Johnstown Estate. The staff were fantastic. From the cleaning staff to the bar staff and the wedding planner Jennifer (I think) everybody was lovely and doing a great job.
