That was a really awesome beginning of our Iceland-trip - nearly impossible to increase! Very good location in the golden circle, Selfoss nearby, and the house - a dream!! Yea, like other mentioned, the infrastructure might be a bit “basic” - but for us good enough and really worth the money! And the hottub is the next dream. Thanks Jacek, if it’s possible we will come back - for sure!!!

What a wonderful place. I booked this place last minute accommodation for one night and it was amazing. The owner is very nice, the room was great and after a cold day it was great to relax in the really hot hot tub! :) Plus you can make yourself a free coffee/tea at the kitchen which was greatly appreciated by me. All in all definitely great place to stay, it was close to Thingvellir National Park.

This hotel is charming. When you are in the restaurant having dinner or breakfast (all homemade and extremely good), it is as if you were in 1890. Because of the decoration, of course. The staff is very friendly, the beds are very comfortable and the outdoor hot pot is wonderful.

Location ,breakfast,reception,place value everything was more than perfect also the staff were more than friendly and co-operative. Furthermore, they helped us with our plan which we did for the activities and the place we want to see by booking and advising. I have definitely enjoyed our relaxing stay on the way to the Gorden circle and Kerid lake in this newly renovated, cozy and comfortable hotel with an outstanding outdoor wellness opportunities including two heated jacuzzies and a sauna.Very organized, guestfriendly and serviceminded staff has provided us with a lot of traveling tips. Would highly recommend this place close to the nature, coast and a main road.
