The owner was super friendly, understanding and helped with every our request. The villa is done with heart, every small detail is high quality, clean and useful. The old convent was really beautiful so quiet and peaceful but is approximately 12 km from Spoleto in a remote mountainous location taxis are difficult to to get and are expensive each trip to and from the premises cost approximately 100 euro per trip The restaurant on site was amazing and food delicious , the views from the premises cost approximately were incredible and the sunsets spectacular, we are there to walk a few sections of the St Francis Camino and the accommodation was just off the route which was a bonus

We stayed in the borgo over valentines weekend and it was absolutely everything we wanted and more, a beautiful, quiet stay in the Umbria hills, near Spoleto in a cute place with all the services. We spent valentines dinner at the restaurant and it was absolutely delicious, the space is beautiful and cozy and the staff is very welcoming and accomodating. The room was cozy and beautifully decorated and restored. There is also a private spa that you can ask to book, a lovely experience that felt luxurious but approachable. We easily visited Spoleto and Norcia during our stay, just 15 min from Terni and the waterfalls. I also liked that we were not so far from Rome so the journey didn't feel tiring. We really felt at home and absolutely taken care of by the wonderful staff. We hope to return again soon!
