The hotel is so central and even though it is in the thick of all the action it is so quiet and peaceful. We had a quadruple room with a double bed and two single beds which worked perfectly for our teenagers. The breakfast was brilliant and even nicer that it could be eaten on the terrace. It’s in the centre of the ZTL so you can’t drive there but we parked in car park P2 and walked through (a bit embarrassing for the kids dragging their cases through the tourists!)

A fantastic location to discover the Chianti valley and Sienna. The hotel is really nicely decorated and relaxing with a fantastic view on the hills & vine fields. The bistrot is really good (book a table in any restaurant of the hotel). Castellina in Chianti and Radda are the closest villages on the Strada del Chianti with nice restaurants.

Set in lovely location close to San Gimignano, we booked it as part of our honeymoon roadtip - the room was stunning, with a great size and spectacular views to the village! Everyone was so friendly. When we arrived, we walked around the area as the room was not ready yet. Beautiful surroundings with several small towns nearby where you can walk up the castles. It is the perfect location to unwind, find rest and be surrounded by an oasis of peace. Whether you want to lay by the pool all day, end your day with an outstanding dinner, or drive through a nearby city for a wine tasting or Italian restaurant - everything is possible.

Very old, but fantastically preserved historic property. Amazing staff. Breakfasts by Mary (especially the quiche) were fantastic. Matteo, the host, was amazing and was on hand to answer any questions, no matter what time of the day! Central location beside the square.
