The hotel location is absolutely beautiful. The room was nice and big with really good AC. Also the room turn down service in the evening is a really nice touch. The staff are all exceptional and very friendly. Highly recommend this hotel and we will hopefully return someday soon. We where in different parts of Italy for almost 3 weeks and this hotel was by far the best one we stayed in.

This hotel is a real diamond hidden on the magnificent Elba Island. We spent almost one week there and felt like we were in heaven. The room was beautiful—small but very cozy—with a stunning view directly of the eternal blue sea and green mountains. Every day we got fresh towels and room cleaning. Breakfast was amazing every day, with very tasty coffee served. The staff, the entire personnel, is extremely professional and friendly; they made our stay wonderful and unforgettable. We tried the jacuzzi, swimming pools, the massage (highly recommended!), and enjoyed the special perfumes Acqua Dell'Elba that you can buy at the hotel. But the highlight was the magical dinners and their selection of wines. I highly recommend trying dinners at the Gallo Nero Hotel; you get a new menu each day consisting of starters, a main dish, a side dish, and dessert. We are very grateful for this wonderful time. Thank you so much for your hospitality and warm greetings to the entire Gallo Nero Team ❤️ I’m sure one day we will come back.

The view from the property is amazing and the owner Massimo welcomed us very warmly! Massimo also made sure we enjoyed our stay in his property and provided us with great suggestions whilst on Elba Island, to which we are very thankful. We got to enjoy the Jacuzzi too, which was lovely.

Everything! Rafaela, Riccardo, Carlo and all the employees of the resort, including the reception and the restaurant make you feel home. The grounds of the hotel are clear, isolated, located in such a green-lush setting that you never want to leave. The sea is just by your step, and whenever you want to enjoy the sunset or walk by the beautiful Biadola, it’s there. It’s a perfect place for bohemian, easy going and quiet luxuries sense of treating yourself.

    The staff in the office, at the beach, in the restaurant on the beach and the breakfast restaurant were exceptional. The room was a bit tired, bathroom fittings outdated but since that was not our focus, it was great. The location was lovely. The beach excellent. Good undercover parking.

    We loved staying at Hotel Del Golfo it was exactly what we needed, no crowds, relaxing, amazing view from our room, we had a crazy 3 weeks travelling Italy & to arrive here was amazing. We had to leave on an early ferry & would have missed breakfast, the friendly staff had organised us a Taxi & breakfast bag on departure, there was so much amazing food it last us our entire journey the next day. Thank you Hotel Del Golfo for your hospitality….

    I loved the atmosphere of the hotel, it is spacious and comfortable - I was positively surprised. We stayed close to the pool (not in the main building), where we had a nice terrace with a table and 4 chairs with umbrella. The hotel has a beautiful garden, with nice shady pavements, feels like a small village. The pool and the pool bar are simply amazing. The beach and the village center is just 5 minutes walk, also the bus is in 5 min walk distance. The free parking is spacious and very comfortable.
