They style and quality of the accommodation, plus the location in Nagiso, giving easy access to the shops, restaurants and train station. Also very much liked the audio system, tv projector and access to Netflix and Amazon. Some very nice touches.

Staff were very attentive. I was really sick on the first day and the lady in the restaurant noticed that I could not eat much and came up to ask what happened. They cooked congee for me on the other day as breakfast that helped me a lot.I would highly recommend this hotel to others and definitely will come back again.

First was hesitant to book because the accommodation had only two reviews on Booking.com back then. Thankfully got proven so wrong as soon we arrived at the location and got greeted by the landlord. It's a hidden gem! The house is located in close proximity to the Ena stage of the famous Japan Rally thus the house (and because the owner is a huge fan) is themed around it. Both the next convenience store and train station are located 3km away in Akechi. Arriving by car is your best option and parking is provided for free on the property. The house and rooms are traditional Japanese-style and bedding is provided in western-style. The room and all facilities were absolutely clean and well maintained. Labels and signage are even provided in English. Despite the shoji doors we had no issues with noise during the night. The spa with the newly installed sauna and outdoor hot bath is plenty for this accommodation. Toothbrush, razors and Q-tips are provided in the shared bathroom. Although check-in is only possible until 8pm the owner thankfully accommodated us warmly after arriving late. He even pre-heated our room and the sauna for us which was a great gesture as after we got caught in a thunderstorm on our motorcycles. Will definitely come back here the next time I return to Gifu prefecture!

Lovely newly renovated inn on the Nakasendo! The owners are welcoming and a lot of fun. Everything is neatly remodeled and comfortable after a long day of hiking. I loved the Indian style curry dinner made with local ingredients and hearty breakfast with local coffee. I'll recommend this place to many friends.

Extremely beautiful location and nature. Very friendly owners and staff. Ordered a tasty meal and some nice plum wine. Would like to come back again and do some more walking in the surrounding area.
