We loved our stay at Alpen Resort & Spa! Thanks for the upgrade to a room with a wonderful view of the Matterhorn! We really enjoyed the outdoor whirlpool and all the other spa facilities as well. The hotel is close to all the shops and restaurants in Zermatt. Accommodating staff. Afternoon cake and tea. We could use the spa during our last day as well which was very convenient as our train back was leaving in the evening.

The breakfast is really good, lots of tasty stuff to eat before heading out. What made our stay special was the family who runs the hotel. They're super friendly and always ready to help, giving us tips on where to eat and the best spots for skiing. I totally recommend this place. We had a great time and felt right at home.
