The place was very relaxing. Marion was very kind and helped us with everything we needed. We would have liked to stay for longer!

We were well taken care of from the moment, we arrived to La Pavona, as the boat company knew about our arrival and had our names. The accomodation even arranged our transfer to Cahuita (boat and taxi), which worked out well. The apartment exeeded every expectation. Huge open space, wonderful views to Tortuguero canal with sliding doors/windows to let the outside atmosphere in. The whole space was very clean, warm shower, safe, garderobe for clothes, dining an writing table, full sized fridge, double airconditioning, and even a bathtube with view. The bed was very comfortable, the linen was good quality. In town everything was in walking distance, and the whole area was astonishing. If we ever return to Costa Rica, we would definitely stay here again.

L’établissement Hotel Los Cielos Del Caribe vous accueille à Cahuita, à 1,1 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Playa Blanca. Excellent accommodation set off the road in beautiful grounds amongst tropical trees, plants and the amazing howler monkeys. It was so much better than I expected and also close to the small town within walking distance via a pathway, about 10 minutes walk. I think we saw more wildlife in this area than other places we visited such as Fortuna which is on the recommended tourist trial. You feel like you are in your own little tropical rain forest and rooms are not overlooked . All facilities around the pool are also great.

Situé à Cahuita, dans la province de Limón, à 14 km de Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, l'établissement New Caribe Point dispose d'une piscine extérieure et d'installations de sports nautiques. We loved our villa, the pool, the owners and staff, the wildlife - during our stay we saw toucans, iguanas, agouti and sloths. It was a perfect place to end our Costa Rican trip.

Hotel El Colibri Rojo - Cabinas - Le Colibri Rouge est un Bed & Breakfast situé à 3 km du centre de Cahuita et à 300 mètres de son parc national. We had a great stay at El Colibri Rojo and ended up extending our stay to 12 days. The rooms were comfortable with AC, we enjoyed spending time at the pool and breakfast was tasty. The location was perfect for us, since we rented a car and could park at the property. We also enjoyed being just a little out of the hustle and bustle of the centre, which was only 6 minutes by car. Playa Blanca is a 6 min drive as well. The place has a very calm nature and the garden is just stunning. The hosts were very friendly and hospitable and advised us on some tours that we wanted to do, which you can book through them. Cahuita is calmer than Puerto Viejo, which is just what we needed. It’s only a 15 min drive there. And you are just a small walk away from Cahuita National Park, which we can highly recommend visiting. All in all the best place we stayed at in Costa Rica!

Beautifully decorated and equipped cabaña with good shower ( hot/cold) and fridge. Very comfy. The balcony ( 2 sides) is just fantastic - tranquil setting, perfect for relaxing or birdwatching. On top the best typical breakfast of my several weeks CR trip. Karen is very attentive and tries to make the stay a memorable one. For the Guapiles area certainly the best choice.
