We have large, attractive rooms which all have TVs, free Wifi, a hospitality tray including biscuits and water. Due to such low demand we are no longer serving breakfast at the hotel. The whole property was very clean and beautifully decorated. The room was spacious, with big windows, comfortable bed, good water pressure in the shower. Toiletries provided, water, coffee, tea refilled every day. Although it was fully booked, it was quiet and couldn’t hear any disturbing noises from other guests. Also, the garden is just beautiful! The check in was very smooth and easy and was able to check in a bit earlier. The property is in a good location if you want to enjoy the beach and go for a walk in town as well. Everything is within short walking distance.

The Bowood Hotel, Spa, and Golf Resort features a luxury spa with superb facilities, including a swimming pool, gym, rock sauna, crystal steam room, aromatherapy shower, relaxation room and treatment rooms. We had the most wonderful staycation at Bowood and would highly recommend it to anyone. The staff, food and facilities were all so fantastic. We saw so much wildlife while enjoying a coffee on the terrace, which added even more magic to our stay. We will be back for sure.

Really spacious and clean room , great staff , couldn’t fault it to be honest .

The hotel has some of the best on-site facilities in the area, half of the rooms with hot tubs on private balconies, an on-site spa with poolside seating and a bar, stylish restaurant and cocktail bar, bike hire, wakesurfing and paddleboading. The breakfast and choice was absolutely amazing. The best we have had at a hotel. It was all fresh and constantly topped up. We had not planned to eat evening meals in the hotel, but the food was so good we ate there every night. The room too was fantastic, with plenty of space. Marc the concierge was very knowledgeable about the area and recommended some great walks suitable for us and the buses to get to them. The receptionists were also very welcoming showing us around the hotel and our room on arrival. The location of the hotel is good too, just a few minutes walk from the center and therefore not too noisy. A few days after we left I realised that I had left an expensive item of clothing behind. The hotel kindly arranged to post this home for me. We usually holiday in the Med but with the high temperatures we now get there during summer, decided to try the UK this year. We had such an enjoyable time will definitely be back next summer.

Situated on the edge of the idyllic Dartmoor National Park and just five minutes from Plymouth, the 5-star Boringdon Hall Hotel and Spa features fantastic historic interiors and elegant rooms, and an Exclusively for Adults 'Gaia Spa'. Our room was one of the Stable Rooms and it was absolutely lovely. The room was small but well-appointed and clean. The staff, especially Alex at reception and the bartenders were pleasant and accommodating....always with a warm smile. The grounds are gorgeous. We will be back!
