Beyond the beautiful pool, gorgeous suites and lavish it was the Owner and the Staff that made our stay a truly exceptional experience. All our requests were handled promptly, effortlessly and they all went above and beyond making our vacation one to remember. Super clean rooms with comfortable beds (best sleep ever) modern bathroom and served delicious freshly cooked breakfast overlooking the beautiful gardens. Extremely conveniently located near several beaches and the town. We are so sad to leave we will miss being taken care of and pampered but we will be back to Black Amber!!! We made great friends there. Fantastic experience 10 star rating!!!

What we appreciated the most were the nice, friendly staff with whom we made something like a friendship! I love the White Rock of Kos because of the great hospitality, the beautiful and clean rooms, of course I can not forget the breathtaking view from the two balconies - yes, you heard right - we had two balconies. The rooms were exceptional, the housekeeping was excellent (the lady from Germany was so nice to do everything for us), and the drivers too. I would like to thank the receptionists who were so kind, understanding and tireless, the masseuse who was so nice, and the rest of the hotel staff as well. The food was exceptional! Mamma mia, fantastic breakfast (a variety of Greek products, all very tasty, always fresh fruit, spreads, salads, desserts and everything your heart desires)! So this was truly a honeymoon for us! I recommend it to those who are willing to pay a little more for the price, but get an exceptional quality of stay with an unforgettable view!

My husband and I stayed at Lango Design Hotel & Spa in Kos from July 7th to July 9th, booking through Booking.com, and it was truly one of the best vacation experiences we’ve ever had. The hotel is perfectly located in the Lambi Beach area, just a short 10-minute drive from the Ferry Port and literally steps away from the sea—separated only by a quiet road. We arranged our transfer through the hotel, and the warm and friendly front desk team greeted us with big smiles. To our delight, they surprised us with a complimentary upgrade to Room 105—the only room with a private pool and direct sea view. The room was absolutely beautiful, and the private pool was a lifesaver during the hot days we spent on the island. We also enjoyed relaxing on the balcony overlooking the sparkling sea—simply magical. One of the highlights of our stay was dining at Koan, the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant for 2025. We had an incredible dinner with live music, exceptional service, and delicious fusion seafood mezes alongside unique and flavorful dishes. The restaurant’s atmosphere, combined with the staff’s warmth, made it an unforgettable evening. Special thanks to Alexandra, the restaurant manager, who was outstanding—always smiling, polite, and full of great recommendations. The hotel’s breakfast buffet was equally impressive, with an incredible variety that catered to every taste and dietary need. From cheeses, charcuterie, and traditional Greek specialties to niche products like thyme honey, locust tree honey, and chestnut honey—it was beyond expectations. They even offered almond milk cappuccinos, kefir, fresh fruit, and healthy oatmeal options. The attention to guests’ allergies and dietary preferences was impeccable. We also enjoyed tasting local Kos wines—affordable and delicious—and spent time at the hotel’s beautifully designed spa and public pool area. The entire hotel is adults-only, which added to the serene and sophisticated atmosphere.

The staff were warm, attentive, and refreshingly unobtrusive. Lush gardens and a pristine pool area created an atmosphere of tranquility, perfect for unwinding. The air conditioning in our room was whisper-quiet and highly efficient, and the bed—complete with exceptionally comfortable pillows—offered blissful sleep every night. Breakfast, ordered from the menu and served to the table, was plentiful, varied, and absolutely delicious. To reach the beach, you cross a quiet road and stroll along a wooden boardwalk that winds through picturesque sand dunes—around 150 meters in total. The beach itself is sandy, though entering the sea requires passing through a 10-meter stretch of large pebbles before you reach soft sand again. At the resort’s private beach, sun loungers and permanently set umbrellas are always available, ensuring comfort and ease. Guest parking bays are shaded for added convenience. The fridge in the villa is replenished daily with bottled water. Housekeeping services are prompt and consistent, with daily cleanings and bed linen replaced every few days. A small note: although not the resort’s fault, the Greek cellular signal in this area is quite weak. Interestingly, Turkish providers seem to dominate and may automatically connect to your phone. To avoid unexpected charges, it’s a good idea to disable automatic network selection and choose a provider manually.

The property was very large . We had an ocean front room with a lovely view of the pool and ocean. The wonderful women who greeted us at meals, whose name is Geraldo was the highlight of every meal.

The property is recently completed and very beautifully and tastefully done. Clean and neat, inside and outside. Great location, and the owners are lovely people who provided helpful welcome gifts and even brought us breakfast from the bakery on one day. The pool is great. Furniture is great.
