The location is amazing, nestle in a cove by the fjords is an idyllic setting. Service, food, people very friendly and welcoming, the best thing for me was the peat fire burning In guests areas and the lobby.

With lake views, this accommodation offers a balcony. The villa also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Breakfast was not provided; that’s okay, we had not expected it. A selection of goodies in the kitchen… appreciated.

Claregalway Hotel is situated just outside of Galway in Claregalway village. It has a restaurant, a leisure centre with a gym and pool, and spacious air-conditioned rooms.

The cosy rooms at Claregalway Hotel all feature a plasma-screen TV and en suite bathrooms with power showers. Free WiFi is available in the hotel. Air Conditioning is available in 48 out of 51 rooms. The facilities were excellent, especially the pool and sauna. The food in the restaurant was very good. Staff friendly and helpful.

The health club features a 17-metre pool. There is also a sauna, a hot tub, a steam room, a gym and a beauty therapy suite available for all guests. It was really a good stay fully worth its money. The lobby is very cozy with a fireplace where you can get yourself warm in nasty weather. The room was big and clean with all the utilities in good shape. Comfy beds made us well rested after the long road. While the pool might need some renovation, it was very well maintained, water samples were taken 2 times while we were there. There is also a small kids pool as well as some swimming stuff available for babies. They also do require caps in the pool, which are available for sale though for a very fair price. The restaurant on site was also great with a very decent kitchen and calm, relaxing atmosphere.

The Connacht Hotel is located close to Lough Atalia, 1.5 miles from the city centre. It boasts a leisure centre with a 20-metre pool, spacious rooms, free Wi-Fi, and free parking.

Active Leisure & Fitness offers a sauna, steam room, hot tub and a gym. The connaught hotel was spectacular from start to finish you couldn't fault it even if you tried.

The Lady Gregory Hotel is close to Coole Park Gardens and offers full Irish breakfasts, a restaurant, and a bar. Guests can enjoy complimentary access to the Swan Leisure Club which includes an 18-metre swimming pool. Location, staff, food and nice room

In Athenry, east of Galway, the friendly Raheen Woods Hotel serves good food and has leisure facilities for kids and adults, including a swimming pool, gym and hot tub.

Other leisure facilities include treatment rooms, a sauna and a hydro bath. Kardio Kidz has climbing frames, kids' cardio, climbing walls and more. The staff were outstanding from the minute we checked in we felt so welcomed.one couple in our group had a 6 month baby with them not only was a cot available for their use but also a mini fridge to keep feeding bottles fresh.there was also a baby bath available

Free access is provided to The Ocean Fitness Centre, which provides a 25-metre indoor Swimming pool, an 18-metre hydro pool, whirlpool, sauna and steam room. There is also a fully equipped, spacious gym. It was a lovely spot just across from the beach and a beautiful garden and beach walkway. A great swimming pool facility

Lovely location and decor with a wonderful spa with seaweed baths. Great beach with sauna and food truck. The restaurant is five star! A gem.

For your comfort, you will find bathrobes and slippers. Screebe House is right on the water in a very quiet remote area. It was so very peaceful. The dinner was absolutely superb in every way from presentation to delectable taste. The breakfast was without a doubt unforgettable in that the croissant just melted in your mouth, and the orange juice was freshly squeezed. The staff was also so accommodating, personal touches!
