Staff were wonderful before and during our stay. Good communication and very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Fresh and locally sourced where possible. A delightful, tranquil location interrupted only by chimes from the bells from the local church (stops at night!), birdsong and cuckoo calls. Gignese has bars, cafes and restaurants and is within walking distance. Stresa with its lakeside promenades, shops and many restaurants is 15-20 minute drive away.

Providing free WiFi throughout the property, the allergy-free apartment features a hot tub. The location was in the center of Stresa, the supermarket was jusrvin front of the residence. The manager Patrizia was caring and helpfull to injoy our stay. And we kept in touch with her after we left and became freinds. The bed was comfortable, the suite was so clean and organised verry well.

Maccagno is a small, friendly village with ample bars and restaurants. Sole and Lago is beautiful. Davide built and designed the apartments to have privacy and to contain everything one needs in a modern, efficient living space; you get the WOW factor upon entering the apartment…then comes the view - absolutely gorgeous! Also, Davide is always available to assist with you anything you may need. My wife and I had a month’s stay and were extremely pleased with Davide, the apartment and Maccagno!

The view from the terrace is absolutely breathtaking ! The apartment is very spacious and generous, very elegant and clean. You have everything you need whether on couples holiday or with family. Parking space in front of the apartment is almost always free or you can use the garage! The host ist very friendly and answers any of your questions or requests. The area is very quiet. You can really relax on your holiday!

There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. One of the nicest places we have ever stayed at. Location, views, hot tub, breakfast, staff, the room, gardens, balcony, the restaurant.... everything was perfect. Pictures do not do it justice how beautiful the location and gardens are! We had a car which was important - would not want to walk from baveno / stresa without the car - but parking was free and easy to find by the entrance to the property.

Really nicely located, well maintained property. Rooms are spacious, views are amazing, just outside the town of Mergozzo but close enough (10 min walk). Super friendly staff, nothing to dislike!

The accommodation features a hot tub, free WiFi throughout the property and family rooms. The hosts are super friendly and helpful, breakfasts were fantastic and rooms very clean and comfortable. The view from the room was amazing.
