The hotel features a hot tub and a tour desk. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, especially at Christmas. The hotel is positioned by a small lake lovely for walks or a morning run. Plenty of nearby restaurants but quiet surroundings. The rooms were comfortable clean and well equipped. Easy free parking right outside. We used the restaurant for breakfast and for evening drinks and were pleased with quality and value.

Arista of Rotorua studios are 20 minutes’ walk from the famous Polynesian Spa. The property features a BBQ area and a pirate ship children’s playground set in lovely gardens. Guests enjoy unlimited WiFi. Most apartments feature a private hot tub and a private patio. Our apartment was exceptional – spacious, with a fully stocked kitchen that made meal prep so easy (they even thought of coffee creamer!). The convenient coin-operated laundry facility was a huge bonus, and its central location near downtown Rotorua was absolutely ideal. This truly felt like a home away from home, and we highly recommend it for anyone visiting Rotorua!

The units come with carpeted floor and feature a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a dining area, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, and a private bathroom with bath and a hair dryer. An oven, a microwave and toaster are also available, as well as a kettle. At the aparthotel, each unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. It was a little difficult to find even with the map I brought with me. Should have spent one fewer day in Rotorua, and a second day in Taupo.

The property is non-smoking and is set 47 km from RNZAF Base Ohakea. Tony & Jill were wonderful and welcoming hosts who couldn’t do enough for us. Tony helped carry our suitcase from the car to the studio at the back of the property. The pool and Jacuzzi were a fabulous added bonus. The icing on the cake was the G&T our hosts gave us by the poolside. Outstanding! At the same time we had privacy as the studio is completely seperate from the main house. The Studio is in a wonderfully landscaped garden with a wide range of plants & trees. The accommodation is “compact and bijou”, but has everything you might need. Very cleverly designed. There is outside seating areas with a small table and two chairs to sit & watch tv. At the end of the stay our hosts said we could check out later if we wished. Very relaxed family oriented hosts, who gave us great information about the town, and where to eat and visit etc. Small continental breakfast that was very tasty. We were also given a lovely homemade slice, to have with a cuppa when we arrived as well. 😋 Highly recommended!

Housed in a building dating from 2023, this apartment is 2.5 km from Sculptureum and 38 km from Gibbs Farm. Outdoor seating allows guests to enjoy the fresh air. Such a lovely place to stay, beautifully designed and decorated, and of course the bathtub on the terrace was a highlight. We also enjoyed the very good restaurant and brewery just across the street. Overall we had a wonderful, relaxing time.
