Wonderful view of the harbor from our suite and balcony. Nice layout of rooms and bathroom. Comfortable seating. Kitchen area had enough supplies to fix snacks and breakfast. Good sized refrigerator and the washer and dryer were a nice plus.

Sydney Opera House

You know a building has star quality when it appears in the logo of an organization like UNESCO. The Temple of Concordia’s six-columned facade is the epitome of ancient Greek architecture, and it’s remarkably well preserved. Credit for its longevity goes to Sicily’s 6th-century Christians, who noticed the temple’s importance and converted it into a church.

Take the ferries that go past the Opera House and the Sydney Harbor Bridge, especially at night. They're spectacular lit up. See a show inside the Opera House. The cabaret show in the small theater is a hoot. Just be aware it's rated R, in American parlance.

It’s a really good idea to take a guided tour of the opera house. The tour I was on was interesting and informative and a highlight was the fact our group was able to sneak into two auditoriums and view rehearsals.

What a fantastic, iconic structure.

What a fantastic, iconic structure. Did a tour which was very informative and took us all over the building. Despite all the controversy in its build, we are so fortunate to have such a wonderful piece of architecture in our country. It certainly makes the harbour! Also treated ourselves to dinner at Bennelong restaurant. The service and food were both exceptional and would definitely recommend if you can score a booking.

I am not a building tour person and I LOVED the tour of the Sydney Opera House (They offer plays, concerts, etc. and told us they named it the Sydney Opera House because Sydney Community Center did not sound as good! So they have a sense of humor!) They showed us how the lights and sound system acooustics complement each other. The designers were SMART and CLEVER to deliver beauty and function together. This was great and I highly recommend!

Book a small group tour of the Sydney Opera.

Book a small group tour of the Sydney Opera. You will love it!! Even better if you can follow it up with an evening performance. TIP: ask for a standing place which is completely fine and you will get fantastic view.

Amazing retreat - the view of the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge and Skyline is stunning. The rooms are beautiful and all the nature around makes it very special. The complementary sanctuary tour was great and our guide answered all the questions- definitely loves the animals & her job! :) During my stay the Zoo opened after dark and the entry was complementary for retreat guest. The restaurant “Me-Gal” serves tasty food and the atmosphere, specially for sunset, is lovely.

Trendy, comfy room with a TV you could stream cast to from your phone, cute cafe in the lobby! Excellent location in a cute neighbourhood, close to lots of good Thai food, the Capitol theatre, and about a 35 minute walk to Sydney Opera House and a half hour bus ride to Bondi Beach!

We have a room with the panoramic view of Sydney opera house and harbour bridge which is so perfect for vivid sydney season. The room is spacious and they gave Us a free champagne and a slice of cake as a welcome and birthday treat. We also enjoy the buffet breakfast choices and the club lounge access. I had a very relaxing holiday because of this hotel. Thank you for the upgrade offer Cristine and it's definitely worth the additional costs. I can't wait to come back in this hotel on my next visit to Sydney. Happy customer here😊.

Centrally located. Comfortable & spacious room. We liked the kitchen, even though we only ate breakfast. Walkable to a lot of tourist attractions. About 30 min walk to the Sydney Opera House. Bus stop to Bondi Beach is just across the street from the hotel! My friends and I felt safe too! I highly recommend this hotel.

The location was GREAT! Very easy access to public transportation., and you are only a couple of stops from Circular Quay, where Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbor Bridge are located. You are surrounded by great restaurants and we ate a different cuisine every night. The restaurant served a great traditional breakfast. We were super happy with our experience.
