I especially enjoyed the people who work here – they are warm, attentive, and make you feel truly welcome. Oka da Mata is in a paradise, surrounded by trees. This is a beautiful, secluded pousada with incredible attention to detail. The rooms are very well appointed, the breakfast is superb - and the coffee and cake (all day) is delicious and really appreciated; as is the concept of "treat this as your living room". I loved the pool and the eclectic garden spaces. Would not hesitate to stay again. Bruno, Lucas and Vincenzo: top notch staff!
