With two kids , we planned to travel using Shanghai’s excellent subway system. The Hotel is about a 5 minutes walk from Shanghai Station, which connects to the major subway lines. What stood out for us was the great room, the excellent breakfast, and the friendliness of the staff. They spent more than half an hour helping us out with the App system to secure bookings, understanding how everything works. Everyone worked with a smile and was very helpful. I don’t normally do this but will name drop some staff names here : Beck, Victoria, Eva, Alan, all in their own way created great memories and an atmosphere that we can’t recommend enough.

    Staying at this hotel made our Shanghai experience just perfect. The breakfast was delicious with many different choices and the staff were absolutely amazing - friendly and helpful, special thanks to the Strawberry breakfast team for the help with out little ones. The fitness with its special view is a fine touch and the location is also good - 10 minutes from the Shanghai railway station (metro 1,3 and 4).

    Breakfast was good but I had to pay for it. But on my Booking.com confirmation it stated complimentary breakfast is included for 2 adult guests per room. It is near Shanghai Railway Station .

    Location is next to Shanghai railway station. Great if you have any onward connections. It also connects to the metro system. Be wary which metro exit you use as getting out the wrong exit may mean an extra 10-15mins walk
