We received a really warm welcome when we checked in, and our room was ready 2 hours early, which was a great bonus. The rooms are basic dormatory style rooms but very spacious and clean. We had booked NH Collection Berlin Mitte am Checkpoint Charlie, but when we realized our train would arrive at Berlin Central Station instead of Berlin Südkreuz, we contacted the hotel about two hours before arriving to ask if we could change our stay to NH Collection Berlin Mitte Friedrichstrasse, which is just one metro stop from Berlin Central Station.
