Our first view of it was late at night as we exited Hbf, it towered over Domplatte and its black colouring helped it hide in the night. Very impressive! Such a beautiful church.

This hotel is ideal as it is attached to Cologne Hbf. Cologne Cathedral is also just across from the hotel and the river Rhine is around a 7 minute walk. Like all of the Ibis hotels we have stayed in room was small and basic. But it's functional and ok for an overnight stay. The location to the station is its main advantage.
