The apartment is modern, quiet, with a good feel and well equipped for a longer stay, with a large bedroom and bathroom, living area and kitchen. A lot of thought has gone into the design and fitout. Less than five minutes from the town hall and an EDEKA to buy groceries. The train station is only 15 minutes away by foot and the trains to the Brocken are reachable within 7 minutes footpath. Although the exterior temperatures were quite high, it stayed acceptable within. I would likely pick this hotel again if I stayed in Wernigerode. I was worried about being disturbed at night but was not. Out of the local restaurants, a Greek one was best.
