Staying at the Duquesa de Cardona hotel is, in my opinion, the best way to experience Barcelona. It’s not just about the perfect location, which truly is ideal, but more so about the warmth of the staff who genuinely strive to make you feel welcome and go above and beyond expectations. It’s evident that this level of hospitality is ingrained in the culture of the place, not a coincidence. From the breakfast team to every employee, they made us feel like family. The truth is, I would normally stay at the W, but I believe that if you come to Barcelona, it’s for the spirit of the city, not for an Ibiza-like feeling. I must specifically mention some of the exceptional reception team members, Karim and Enrico, who are among the most outstanding people I have ever met. I will gladly return here… and importantly, unlike many other places where staff asked me to leave a review, this team didn’t even mention it. 👏👏👏

Best stay in Barcelona in all my travels. Very helpful and friendly people at reception! Best part was wine o’clock for 1hour, when you get unlimited wine and some cheese. Water refills also available. Breakfast is amazing as well. It has cold (ham, cheese, veggies, yogurt , musli ) and hot (eggs, bacon) options , very tasty fruits and bakery. The atmosphere is very relaxed. Pretty terrace. Also loved the location. Very calm yet so close to everything. I stayed in single room, bed was good size and the bathroom was spacious!

Great hotel in central Barcelona. Our room was very quiet and the kingsize bed was awesome. The city centre is in walking distance. Great for chilling is the roof top bar, which was unfortunately closed during our stay but we just took a drink from the room with us. The spa is small but also great for chilling out after discovering Barcelona all day. The breakfast is also very good! Very friendly staff! We will come back!

Located right opposite Barcelona Cathedral, this grand, neoclassic hotel is a 5-minute walk from Plaza Catalunya. It offers free WiFi, and some rooms have excellent views of the cathedral façade.
