Spacious room with big comfortable beds. Toilets has 2 separate basin, very convenient. Hotel staff were very polite and friendly; breakfast spread was good. Hotel is walking distance to Palace, Xmas markets and shopping belts.

The location was ideal. The hotel was amazing. The rooms were large, ours had a little balcony as well. There was a little table in the room with 2 chairs. The room had a barfridge and iron with ironing board. Large bathroom with twin basins, shower & bath facilities as well as bidet

Excellent Opera house, with a great seat pretty much...

Excellent Opera house, with a great seat pretty much anywhere, as it is a medium size opera house. Saw the NY Met's version of Medea last season, which was great, but the production here was even better! Note that online booking system has a 3D visualizer when choosing seating and none are cheap, but a fair value for the quality of the production.

All the staff were so approachable and professional and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The room, hallways and entrance have been modernised but still retain the beautiful and stunning old features. As for the location, well how wonderful to have a park and gardens just out the front door, the teatro real, the Palace and so many places to eat and drink.

The apartment seemed new and was very tastefully furnished with attention to detail. The best thing was the location, a short walk to Plaza Mayor, Mercado San Miguel, Teatro Real, etc. C. de Cava Baja, 3 mins, great for eating. Metro 1 min walk.
