Great boutique hotel in the heart of Alnwick. Beautifully decorated. Exceptional staff - always friendly and willing to help. The bistro restaurant on site is excellent too. Breakfasts are delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would certainly book again when in the area.

From the time we were checked in by Georgia at reception we experienced nothing but excellent service. She was very welcoming, friendly, efficient and helpful. We booked the accessible room and the facilities were really good. The little stair lift made it easy to get to reception with a wheelie walker, the room and bathroom were warm, comfortable, very spacious and easy to navigate for someone with mobility problems. All the hospitality staff made dinner and breakfast in the restaurant a great experience. They were friendly, quietly efficient and our food and drinks were served very quickly. The views out to the ocean from the dining area and bar/ sitting room are beautiful and added to the enjoyment of delicious, well cooked and beautifully presented meals. The tasteful Christmas decorations added to the lovely atmosphere. The property is easy to find and very conveniently located to access the town and coastal walks. On site parking was a bonus. Our whole experience at the Beach House was far above our expectations and we would definitely recommend staying there. Wish we could have been there longer !

    We stayed in a deluxe room at the Sunningdale. It was beautifully appointed, bright and very spacious and had a large, modern en suite. The bed, furnishings, linens and towels were all of a high quality. Our breakfast was well cooked using quality ingredients. The staff were warm and friendly and everything was spotlessly clean. The hotel was located close to Bamburgh Castle and all the amenities in Bamburgh. We would definitely return to the Sunningdale in the future.

    The Victoria Hotel is very nicely presented. Our bedroom was very comfortable - although perhaps a tad narrow - and had a view of Bamburgh Castle from the window. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and the shower was great. The food was good and I really liked the 'All Paws on the Floor' signs in the public areas.

    Breakfast was fantastic a big choice and all good produce. Short walk to other pubs/restaurants although the food at the Victoria was very good. Great tv in bar for watching sports,friendly staff. Easy walk to beach and even walked it to seahouses along the beach. Bamburgh castle could be seen from the front of the hotel.

    Fantastic hotel in the heart of Bamburgh, very close to Bamburgh Castle and a 20-minute drive to Lindisfarne car park. The staff were all really friendly and the room was perfect. The bathroom and shower were particularly excellent. Comfy bed, quiet room, and a fantastic breakfast. Free parking provided by the hotel close by. Would definitely recommend.

    The apartment was spotless with everything you need ,the best stocked cupboards with more than enough for a group of four .The location is great with three great places to eat and drink.Whithin a few hundred metres of Bamburgh Castle, and a fantastic beach that you can walk all the way to Seahouses, would not hesitate to recommend and also return Cheers kev

    The hotel was located just up the road from Bamburgh Castle Friendly staff and was easy check-in Lovely breakfast set us up for the day Lucky to be able to park by wall opposite that had no parking restrictions so left car there after check-out and walked to see castle - saved us £5 for parking

    The perfect location to visit Bamburgh Castle and the beach. Also, a short drive to Lindisfarne. The staff were friendly and polite. A good breakfast buffet and also a good selection of a cooked breakfast. The basket at reception with extra tea bags, milk, sugar etc was a nice touch, as I find a lot of hotels never leave enough in the rooms.
