    Lovely warm welcome from Hicky. The Roost is in a great location in the heart of Beauleui but in such a peaceful setting and a short walk from the pub. Lots of walks from the door step including the utterly perfect walk to Bucklers Hard.

    Great location for Beaulieu Motor and Gardners World show. Parking at side of house. Lovely comfy bed. Fridge. Good choice of teas etc. Fresh milk. Very welcoming and friendly. Great view from window. Access to tv. Plenty of cafes nearby with good food and opposite garden centre with lovely cafe. Pleasant local walks and 2 mile pretty walk to Bucklers Hard off high street. Would stay again.

    Chose the location as we had visited the area many years ago when we had a caravan and wanted to go back and stay in Bucklers Hard. The food was excellent with a good choice of meals. The room was well laid out and very comfortable though the hot water in the taps and shower was very temperamental with the shower just stopping on occasions!

    A beautifully appointed little cottage - perfect for a couple. Very pleasant and kind hosts. Great location, just over the road from a large and interesting lake with plenty of wildlife. Just a few minutes from Beaulieu, Bucklers Hard, Exbury Gardens and Brockenhurst. Very comfortable and has a lovely attached conservatory which is a sun trap. Hosts had supplied milk, eggs and bread, as well as tea and coffee. Good little farm shop only a few hundred yards away with butcher and all other vital supplies. Secure location with gated access.

    The staff were exceptional, all of them. The location was great, walked to Bucklers hard from hotel. Grounds were so well kept and a lovely area to sit out. The room was warm and bed was comfy. It had a lovely ambience about the whole place.

    Lovely stay at the Stable Yard, we loved waking up each morning to see the Horses in the yard. Breakfast pack was great and had everything you needed. Nice toiletries provided in the bathroom to use. 10 minutes drive from places like Bucklers Hard and Beaulieu Motor Museum.

    Very welcoming hosts who were lovely to chat to and who made us feel very relaxed in their lovely cottage. A beautiful garden, and a big room with tea making facilities and a fridge. Very reasonable price. Great location! A fantastic cafe just across the road for breakfast and a very easy base to explore Beaulieu, Bucklers Hard and the New Forest. We are looking forward to staying here again on our next visit.

    Everything. The location is amazing. The staff, particularly Nicky on reception, were wonderful, smiling all the time, very efficient and going above expectations. The dining room for breakfast and dinner was beautiful, looking out over the river. Food was delicious. My room was very nice and very clean. The Bucklers Hard museum, al though not part of the hotel, was unmissable. Beautiful hotel altogether
