I notice that the staff were down to earth , pleasant and helpful. By the second day I decided I should stay longer. I also liked the complimentary wine which started the evening. The location could not have been better for food and shopping so the lack of on site restaurant didnt matter .

The location was a five minute walk from Farringdon tube/train station and local (less than an hour) walk to all the main attractions we wanted to see (Tower of London, St. Pauls Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Nation Gallery, Piccadilly Circus and the theater district). Unit has a full kitchen and supplied coffee and Nespresso machine which was a great. The beds were comfortable.

The area around Pimlico was quiet. When I needed breakfast or the shops, they were less than 5 minutes away, and this combination was great. I was attending an event at Westminster Abbey, . so it was convenient to walk there and back, although this may not suit all as I found it tricky to navigate at first. The hotel was great. Large double bed and good shower that didn't result in a flood. The staff were friendly and polite.

Take a boat trip down the Thames from Westminster to Greenwich. You see the culture on the banks of the river and you can then return to the places you want to. Visit Greenwich Park, the Maritime Museum, Cutty Sark etc and return to the West End via the Docklands Light Railway, via Canary Wharf. A fantastic cultural round trip.
