If you travel on the train, take the Acropolis station. Shorter walk from there. Take water with you. Take lots of photos. This attraction is one of our world’s wonders not to be missed!! There 2 ways into the sights. You can walk from AGORA sight by the side path but it a very big climb of u over 65. The other entrance which buses tour use is at he side of Acroplis museum about 10 minutes walk from the Acroplis metro and it onky a short walk from there.Guest review byMauraIreland

Consider visiting Athens in May or September. May is just lovely. Spring flowers like poppies and daisies cover the hills. It's not too busy and not too hot. Remember that on holidays you are always moving so consider the weather when you make your plans.
