The hotel was beautifully remodeled in every regard. The lobby, common areas and our room, especially the bathroom and shower, were wonderful and the staff were courteous and helpful and spoke excellent English. The continental type breakfast was wonderful and I greatly enjoyed being immersed in the city rather than staying in a large, American style hotel.

Absolutely everything! There is no aspect I could complain about! Even the location seems not really in the center, it is very close to many busses, tram, suburban railway, and in 20 minutes you are in the Center.

Aquincum

Now an excavated location bringing Roman Budapest to life, this collection of ruins includes the site of a military camp, the crumbling remains of an amphitheater, and a section of aqueduct. Take a walk around—almost all of it is accessible to visitors—and you might see some archaeological work under way.
