The best staying in Budapest I could have ever imagined! Every place starts with its people so firstly I must say that the staff was immensely friendly and ready to help. I was lucky to check in at 10AM and have a breakfast! The hotel itself is very fancy and cozy, there is a nice lobby zone to take a drink/work/just chill. And the terrace outside is very picturesque, with flowers, sofas and zones to take photos or simply enjoy the view of the street with old villas and historical buildings. The area where the hotel is located is full of nice touristic spots (museums, a huge park, famous Heroes Square and Szechenyi bath), and you can swiftly access the city center by metro (the oldest underground line in Europe, which is a great attraction itself!), by taxi or simply on foot. My room was absolutely perfect, clean, tidy and modern. Wi-Fi was fast and stable, which was good for work and watching smth for part-time. And, of course, breakfasts completely stole my heart! The food was delicious and there was really a great choice of products, everything was nicely served and fresh, with a great attention to the details (crockery, furniture, design, etc). Coffee is especially good here, by the way. I would give this place 100 out of 10 and definitely recommend Alice hotel to everyone!

Great location, quiet neighbouhood, close to bus and tram station, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist ever (mr.Andrew), lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, excellent service where we had breakfast. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Heroes' Square

With its huge 36-metre-high column, it’s not hard to spot Heroes Square. Take photographs of this iconic monument or wander around the Vidam Park, where you might stumble across a free outdoor event. In the park, you’ll also see the impressive Vajdahunyad Castle, home to the agricultural museum and a cheap enough attraction if you’d like to go inside.

History, pageantry and pride is evident all around this area. Take some time to follow the tales of how and why this place came to be and you get a better sense of the people. The nearby castle and restaurant are stunning to say the least.

Very good - What previous guests thought, 2,247 reviews
The location is great, close to the M1 metro on Andrassy Street, which takes you directly to Vörösmarty Square, with the Opera stop in between. You can also walk to the Széchenyi thermal baths, Vajdahunyad Castle, Heroes’ Square, and a good Hungarian restaurant called Paprika. The breakfast was tasty with enough variety.
