Great little bay to Paddle Board and enjoy the sun. The Beach club is good for families and the pools are Free to use if eating/drinking so you can make a day of it! Beautiful white sandy beach that is quite sheltered from the wind. Water temp great for swimming. No waves for surfers but you can access boats to take you to the breaks. Mushroom Bay has it all. People watching. The boat drops off and picks up here. It sounds like it would be busy, it is not. When the tide is out, it is a perfect place to walk and look at small tide pools. I recommend footwear. It is also perfect when the tide is up for just relaxing. The staff is welcoming and social. I rented a bike here and it was very good bike. The hostel was clean and the aircon was very good as well. The facilities are clean and kept up. The beds were so comfortable, perhaps the best hostel beds ever. The staff there are so much fun, and so friendly, really enjoyed my stay here. The nights around there are a good time, whilst also turning in for bed early. Best of both worlds. You can rent motorbikes and book tours through them as well. We were in a hut that could see the water (not ocean front) which was a beautiful view. The huts and grounds are well taken care of and there are many helpful happy staff. They helped us book activities and there is no shortage of things to do on site. We had a great private snorkel and a day trip to Penida. The bed was clean and comfortable and the location is great on Mushroom Bay.
