Absolutely worth the visit and plan to spend better part of a day at Birr. The telescope and scientific exhibits are fascinating, and the castle tour is enlightening to learn about the Earls and their families. Take time to visit this property!
Take time to visit this property! The castle is only available to see through a tour, a family still lives there, but the property is immense, with alot of walking paths, gardens, water, and science. I had no idea how much this family had contributed to the field. Absolutely amazing. We only had a couple hours and I wish I’d had a whole day… at least.Guest review bytankgirl1522United States
