Not worth staying there, Just reach the falls around 10 am...
Not worth staying there, Just reach the falls around 10 am and leave in an hour. Nothing much to do. Carry your own snacks as there is no infrastructure of any kind. Only one small restaurant operates in that complex selling reasonable food, but always crowded at lunch time. The only other dining option there is at Kargal which is 5 kms away. There are photographers (Romal D Souza) who take your pictures and print it for a reasonable amount. Please encourage them and give them some business. Jogfalls waterfall is one of the biggest water falls in the world . I suggest travel during the rainy season to enjoy its splendour. Though the flow of water is less in October it’s still pleasant to watch than summer . Visit near by Jungle lodge resort water sports which is just 5 km away. They cooked us home made dinner and breakfast - everything was delicious and we really enjoyed it. Vegetarian food provided was simple, homely and delicious. The room was quite large and comfortable. Excellent location to visit Jog Falls maybe 7 kms away we could go twice to enjoy both views morning and evening. Hosts were great. Food was excellent for a home stay with varieties provided. Covered parking was available for 3 cars. Just 15 minutes drive to the Jog Falls.
