GermanyThe place was wonderful. Easy pick up of the key by the reception building. The cottage was warm and cozy and the hottub the perfect way to end a long day of exploring Mývatn. As the cottages are a bit isolated, there is no light polution and we were able to see the aurora borealis.

We viewed the falls before breakfast which was excellent. There are several different rooms at this hotel. We didn't know what type of room we would have before arrival. It is located well away from the ring road in open countryside with wonderful views.
