I do believe the hike from the waterfall is my most favorite...
I do believe the hike from the waterfall is my most favorite "green" hike of all time. (versus Sedona's red rock trails!!) If you can stand going up all of those stairs, try and plan at least a few hours to walk as much of the trail as you can. It is worth every moment!Guest review byPilarUnited States - 10.0

The best waterfall in whole of iceland. We could go so close to the waterfall and get totally drenched. That was an amazing and memorable experience. Very next to the falls are the steps to go to the top and view the falls from there. Loved it.Guest review byBharathiCanada

The location is perfect—just a short walk from the stunning Skógafoss waterfall. The hostel is cozy, clean, and well-maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The true drawcard here is the location literally right next door to the Skogafoss waterfall, you can just wander over and be at the waterfall in two minutes after breakfast. Room was small but big enough to have 2 suitcases around. Tea/coffee machine is in the corridor, together with a selection of tea bags. Nice touch.
