We loved it here, the person in the reception was super nice, they gave us an upgrade on the room and gave us warm drinks (coffee, hot chocolate or similar) in the house. It reflected the warmth of Iceland. We recommend this place a lot!

Amazing location well worth the money spent. The place was absolutely incredible. Upon our arrival we were upgraded to a better room for free. Out of the 9 nights we stayed in Iceland in different hotels ION Adventure Hotel was the one we saw the northern lights in. The hotel offers wake up call service if the lights appear at any time during the night which is awesome (saves you time and fuel driving around all night looking to see them). Highly recommend this place even if you do not see the lights it’s a hidden Gem especially the Infiniti pool/spa. Thank you ION for the amazing experience and the great hospitality!!!

This is a MUST stay place if you have a car and you are planning to stay near Selfoss and Thingvellir Park! Place is totally lovely, as the staff there is! Special kudos to Agatha and Ásta! We had a need to change the room and it was sorted out fast and with complimentary attention - thank you!! Oh! And don't miss the opportunity to spend your evening I'm the hot tub outside, wonderful way to finish the day after beautiful sightseeing in this wonderful place Iceland is :)

Wonderful location! We were able to see the northern lights every night we were there!!

Found by bubbling geothermal springs in Hveragerdi, this hotel offers an outdoor pool and 2 hot tubs and sauna. All rooms include bathrobes, slippers and a 32-inch flat-screen TV. Wi-Fi is free.
