The hotel is right on top of the village and next to the castle. You can drive there and even find free parking - 20 meters away from the hotel. This is a family managed hotel and everyone was super friendly and making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Breakfast offered a full range of local treats. Our room was big and spoiled us with amazing views of the valley and the Etna.

The Shalai - Exclusive SPA and small gourmet hotel is set in the historic centre of Linguaglossa, a nice Sicilian village within easy reach of Catania and Mount Etna.

The place is really authentic, you will be welcomed like at home. I've seen some comments and was in doubt if I should book here, but I am glad I did. Some travellers might be picky, I personally found this hotel exceptional.
