Pantheon

The Pantheon has been a model of perfection for almost 18 centuries. Known for its perfect symmetry (the diameter of the dome is equal to the building’s height), it’s one of the most well preserved buildings of Ancient Rome – and an enduring symbol of architectural perfection. It’s also the resting place of King Vittorio Emanuele II, Umberto I and the artist Rafael.

This is one of those got to see it to believe it places - even just from the outside! Unfortunately we were always going passed when it was closed or too busy to get in, but I would definitely make the effort to go if I found myself in Rome again (which is likely).

This is a must-see so we got 'front of the line' tickets ahead of time but when we got there, it was so busy that they told us there was no such thing as front of the line tickets for the Pantheon. The good news is that we did not wait long and inside it was incredible.

The Pantheon is well worth the time.

The Pantheon is well worth the time. It costs five euros for the ticket. It is a truly amazing place. We were lucky, we went around 1pm in the afternoon, and it was not crowded. Don't let any of the tourist guides deter you from going, as they tell you it is always crowded. It is not.

Everyone wants to see it once, right?

Everyone wants to see it once, right? Not worth terribly long lines, and the current museum-like displays ruin the feel of it, but if you must, you must. It's one more experience in Rome that will remind you of the incredible architecture and pasttimes of ancient history.

    Amazing (of course).

Amazing (of course). Tickets: Don't bother with the expensive pre-booked "skip-the-line" tickets with or without audio guide. Just go straight to the on-site ticket office that accept cash only. 5€ per adult, 2€ students 18-25yo. No line (less than 10 people) when there was a huge line for the so called fast lane.

If you need to see a very large dome with a 9metre hole in it, the Pantheon is the place to be. However, half an hour and you've done the thing. Don't even consider paying more than the 5 euro (under 18s free - as of October 2024) entry per adult, and 100% don't buy the Rome Tourist Card by Tiqets with Pantheon entry. You're just throwing your money away.

Everything about it was perfect for me! Love the location because you can walk outside and immediately be at the Pantheon for drinks or eating a delicious restaurant or walk a little more and the Vatican. Take a very quick $9 taxi to Trevi Fountain even though it was raining one night it was so easy and the hotel provided my umbrella. The cutest streets outside to walk in and shopping is there too.

The location was super, in the center of historical city. 5 min walk from Fontana di Trevi or Pantheone. The apartment was big , clean and comfortable. The host was super kind. I would recommend it especially if you’re traveling with kids.

Didn't spend much time in the hotel and that was by design - when you're in Rome you want to get out and about. Hotel was great to be centrally located and got us close to Piazza Novana, The Pantheon, short walk to the Trevi, and all the other sites in North Central Rome. Some great places right around there: - CiPasso (upscale) - Ditirambo Roma (classic spot) - Cul de Sac (classic) - Gelateria La Romana (gelato)

The location of the apartment was very good, walking distance to most popular attractions and shopping. The Trevi Fountain and Pantheon were easy to walk to as well as all the high end shopping and dining options. The location is the main reason to consider this apartment.

Maison Luxury Pantheon is a recently renovated, comfortable, and well-equipped apartment right next to the Pantheon. The check-in was easy, and the owner even provided some recommendations for restaurants and visiting Rome. We really appreciated the amazing hospitality and helpfulness, and the great location. The street is of course noisy, so bring earplugs for the night if you go during a time of year when you’ll want the windows open in the evening.
