Location was excellent, and the room was big. The view from the room was amazing and the rooftop area was a great addition. The staff were very friendly. It was very close to the train station and a great base for all the sights.

Great service. You can get to most places with shuttle bus and they are happy to pick you up. Food is great and onsen is really the best way to relax. The price is less than most other hotels while the value you get is more than what you expect

Thé Toki is brand new and is equipped with modern and high quality furnishings, it was very spacious, quiet, very clean, we had the entire house with 2 bedrooms for 2 people, 2 bathrooms of course, and so there was plenty of room. The roof top terrace with its own BBQ and a superb view of Mount Fuiji was awesome!

The property is spectacular. The level of attention for the guest is unmatched. We were so well taken care of, the staff were amazing. We would especially like to thank the man at reception on 23th and 24th of March - sorry we didn't catch your name, but we would like to say our warmest thank yous! Our room was spacious, heated floors, great design, everything was well thought out and the natural materials made all the difference. The bathroom was amazing on its own but the outdoor bath was simply incredible - being able to relax with a bottle of the finest 7c wine in the hot water under the rain was magical. I also have to mention the incredible breakfast - the selection of locally grown products was so special, we enjoyed our mornings to the fullest! We can't recommend 7c winery and villa enough! We only wish we planned a longer stay so we could enjoy more time in this lovely place. I hope we get to return again in the future!

    We wish we had spend more days at the Ginkgo House, the apartment is lovely and very close to Shimoyoshida station. Chureito pagoda overlook is 30-40 mins walking. Bars, restaurants and many other services are walking distance.

    Excellent facilities, way more than I needed for a solo trip but everything else was booked. In any case, the apartment is super well equipped, plenty of resources to spend quite a few days. The japanese style rooms are a great touch also. Location is at a walking distance of the Chureito Pagoda and between a couple of train stations also. Is not that close to the lake area but the bus service worked for me.

    Great location, easy to visit Chureito Pagoda and surrounding areas by shuttle bus! The view of Mt. Fuji from the hotel and our room window was incredible and I loved how close we were to Fuji-Q Highland (walking distance!). The room was quite spacious as well!

    This is a great hostel within a short walk to the Mt Fuji train station to get around to see some of the major sights, including Lake Kawaguchi and Chureito Pagoda. The bedding was really soft and comfortable which was a pleasant surprise and the amenities were quite clean. The rooftop has a fantastic view of Mt Fuji and Fuji Q Highlands. I really enjoyed the bar that was attached to the hostel that served really great drinks and food. It had a fantastic cozy vibe too.

    Beautiful apartment with a Mt Fuji view. Lots of space. You have everything you need. Washing machine, parking space right outside the door, nice dining area and 3 rooms with 2 beds on each room. The beds were also super comfy. Check in was easy too. We were giving the code to the door the day before and just needed to enter reservation code on the ipad at the door for checking in. Walking distance to Chureito pagoda which means I can hike there to enjoy the view before people comes.

    Nice hostel. Host was super friendly and breakfast perfect. Great experience to stay in classic Japanese house. 20 minutes walk to Chureito Pagoda (possible to go for sunrise - best thing what we did in Japan). It is possible to walk to Kawaguchiko lake as well (40 minutes) or train station is quite close (than 5 minutes by train). We stayed here one night (after travel from Tokyo) and then we continued to Mishima (for Shinkansen to Kyoto)

    The hostel is beautiful and clean. Very friendly staffs. Many tea options, you can try in the dining section. 15 min walk to Chureito Pagoda from hostel. 9 mins walk from Shimoyoshida Station to the hostel. Just outside the hostel (roadside) can see beautiful Mt Fuji view.

    Great location: 5 min from the Gekkouji station, a 10-min walk to/from the Mt. Fuji Station (where a sightseeing bus to Oshino village and Yamanaka Lake stops), and, most importantly, a 15-min walk to the Arakurayama Sengen Park (with an iconic Chureito Pagoda which is also seen from the hotel corridor). Nice view on the Fuji Mountain from my room.
