The place is just like going home after a long journey. The owners are super friendly. They picked up us from nearest station, and drive us back the next day. They have small restaurant two doors away, which worth a visit.

Very clean accomodations. Had all the basics you might need. Hosts were very very kinda. 10/10 recommend, one of my favourite stays in Japan.

Location: Hill Top is an apt name for this delightful, off-the-beaten track guest house in the stunningly beautiful Kiso mountains. Service: above and beyond. Owner/host/chef Masahiro-San was so gracious and welcoming. Food: we opted for breakfast and dinner, which was excellent; served in the dining room with a beautiful view of the mountains. Masahiro-San is an excellent and creative chef.
